At Zetta Solution, we help businesses simplify complex operations with cloud-based solutions. We spoke with Andrew Aw, Director of OSG Containers and Modular, about the company’s journey and how Zetta has empowered them to optimise operations.


Building on Family Foundations

OSG was founded by Andrew’s father, a seasoned construction professional, after the 1997 financial crisis. Seeing the potential to repurpose shipping containers into offices and functional spaces, he launched the business. Initially, most processes, including invoicing and accounting, were handled manually. Over time, Andrew’s brother Adam joined to streamline operations using Excel, and eventually Andrew came on board to support the company’s growth.

Facing the Limits of Manual Systems

In the early stages, OSG relied on MYOB and hired a bookkeeper and admin, but processes ran in silos. Quotation data didn’t sync with accounting figures, creating double entries and inefficiencies. An overseas ERP solution was tried, but poor support and unfamiliar terms made it impractical. Quickbooks offered some relief, but it wasn’t comprehensive enough to manage production, projects, and warehousing.

Finding the Right Solution

Through a mutual connection, Andrew learned about Zetta Solution, a PSG-approved vendor. “During the demo, the Zetta team was very convincing and reassured me they could fulfill what OSG needed,” Andrew recalls.

With Zetta’s implementation, OSG has been able to:

  • Track inventory accurately with the Stock Take module, increasing accountability among employees
  • Monitor production costs and raw material usage, allowing precise profit and loss tracking for each container
  • Assess sales performance with detailed reports, supporting better staff appraisals

Andrew adds "I feel that whatever we have in place now puts us in the right direction in terms of sustainability. I am glad to have implemented Zetta Solution as it really benefited us a lot."

Streamlining Processes with Support

Unlike other vendors, Zetta Solution doesn’t charge per user, enabling OSG to scale the team easily. The support team is responsive, addressing issues quickly.

“The implementation of Zetta Solution really benefited the team as it now syncs information from the Planner, Purchase, Sales, and Logistics departments into one system. With everyone looking at the same data source, miscommunications have gone down, and efficiency has improved significantly,” says Andrew.
